CALLING ALL BAKERS!! - the yearly baked good auction is coming up during the March 11th Talent Show!  If you would like to contribute your best baked good, please prepare it and drop it off at the church fellowship hall on the afternoon of March 11th.  Please attach a note on top stating what the item is and who created it.

 Meals-on-Wheels of Senior Services, Inc., Forsyth County’s Hot Meal Program is in need of volunteers to deliver hot lunch meals to the homebound elderly in Clemmons and Lewisville in the morning, Monday-Friday.  We have 4 hot meals routes in the Lewisville/Clemmons area.  A volunteer orientation is provided and written directions to each address are furnished.  Volunteers can deliver with a frequency that suits their schedule.  For additional information, please call Leslie Smith at 336-721-6910 or email her at lsmith@seniorservicesinc.org.  

 GriefShare: A Journey from Mourning to Joy

It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right
now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you’ve
probably found that there are not many people who understand
the deep hurt you feel.

That’s the purpose of GriefShare, a special
seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone
close.

This group is sponsored by Stephen Ministry who understand
what you are experiencing and want to offer you comfort and
encouragement during this difficult time.

Each GriefShare session includes a video seminar and group
discussion. A workbook is available to assist you with note taking,
journaling and grief study. The videos feature top experts on grief
recovery and real-life stories of people who have experienced losses
like yours. During small group discussion time, you’ll have the
opportunity to interact with others who have experienced a recent
loss.
The 12 GriefShare video sessions listed below are designed to
help you successfully travel the journey from mourning to joy.

 Come join us in 2012!... The CUMC Prayer Group meets every Thursday morning at 10 am in the CUMC Parlor. We are a small group that meets to lift others in prayer. We pray for all in the community as well as our CUMC congregation and church.
