The Clemmons Food Pantry's next orientation is on Wednesday, September 8, at 7 pm at the Pantry in the K-Mart shopping center.
It will last about an hour and include an overview of all volunteer opportunities and a tour of the Pantry. Anyone who would like to attend, please contact the Pantry at 336-331-3432 or call Terry Jeanes at 336-978-1945 or email: thejenz@earthlink.net by Friday, September 3, since our space for orientation at the Pantry is limited.
Please keep our clients in your thoughts and prayers, especially the children and also their teachers as they begin a new year. Our prayer is that each child has a wonderful year of learning and makes gains in knowledge throughout this coming year. Education is a key stepping stone to a better life. This return to school also gives many of the children an opportunity for both free breakfast and lunch meals during the week and a cool, air-conditioned place to stay during the hot days at the beginning of the year.
Again, thank you for your continued support of time and donations to the Pantry and its many clients. You are a blessing to both the clients and the Clemmons Food Pantry team!
