Welcome to Clemmons United Methodist Church!  My name is Kathleen Timbinaris and I am the Director of Children and Family Ministries at CUMC. I was born and raised in central New Jersey and have been married to my husband Steve for almost 25 years. We have four children, Stephen (23), Caroline (21), Meghan (19) and Addison (14). Stephen is currently living in Missouri, Caroline and Meghan both attend college at High Point University and Addison is in eighth grade. I graduated from Rutgers University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Child Psychology. Soon after, the preschool bug bit me and I have spent most of my career in the early childhood education field. I received my Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education with a concentration in leadership and administration and also have an Associate’s degree from Forsyth Tech in Paralegal Studies. Throughout my work, I have always been drawn to children and families, finding that my passion is helping other families through the twists and turns of parenting, all while helping support children as they learn and grow.  I am extremely excited to work with the children and families at CUMC to help build faithfully strong followers of Jesus. Most of all, I want every child and family who enters our doors to know that they are loved, not only by Jesus, but by our congregation as well.
