I have been the Office Manager at Clemmons UMC since November 2002. I had previously worked for a local Moravian Church for seven years prior to coming to Clemmons UMC. As Office Manager, I wear many different hats, ranging from administrative duties to financial accounting. I graduated with honors from Forsyth Technical Community College with an Associate Degree in Accounting while working full time at Clemmons UMC and raising my daughter as a widow. Before working in a church environment, I worked for Hechinger/HQ (a home improvement retailer) for 11 years as Head Bookkeeper and Office Manager. As a young adult, I transferred a few times to open up new stores in South Carolina and Virginia. I was awarded the “Employee of the Year” during the year I worked at the Greenville, SC location. That was considered a great honor in the company. I have recently become a grandmother, and it is the best part of life! I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, reading, and taking care of my fur babies.
