Watchmen of the Streets

Directed by Al and Bonnie Burchett, volunteers for Watchmen of the Streets work to improve the plight of the homeless population in Forsyth County, providing camping equipment and other supplies to people who live outside, under bridges, in abandoned buildings - or sometimes in their cars.

Their goal is to become friends with those on the street, provide resources that make life more bearable – and ultimately to help the homeless transition into housing. The group partners with the CUMC Furniture Ministry and GreeNest Ministry to help with furnishings to those in transition.
