The Importance of Worship
At Clemmons UMC, we value worship for all ages. All children are welcome and encouraged to join their families at any of the worship services. We invite you to click on any of the categories below to explore additional ways your children can interact with our worship space each Sunday morning.

During the 9 am and 11 am Worship Services, we offer a special time for children in the service.
Afterward, children are invited to attend worship care at their parent’s discretion. Parents of children ages birth up to Kindergarten are asked to take children to C-105. The Children's Director or a volunteer will escort those Kindergarten - 5th grade to the Family Room in the Ministry Center.

Sunday School classes meet at 10 am on Sunday mornings. Sunday School for Infants up to Kindergarten is held in C105. Sunday School for Kindergarten - 5th grade is held in the Family Room in the Ministry Center.

Worship carts are located in two different spaces. The first location is in the narthex at the back of the sanctuary. The second location is in the small commons area on the right as you walk into the front of the sanctuary.
These carts contain Christian and character uplifting books, simple drawing/art activities, activities pertaining to the sermon or church season, and fidget objects. Children are invited to use any of these materials during worship services.
We ask that you please return any books and unused supplies back to the worship carts at the end of worship.

Children’s Choir - Children ages 3 and up to 5th Grade are invited to participate. Classes include musical instruments, singing, and beginning music theory appropriate for each age group.

Parental and Family
Spiritual Opportunities
At Clemmons UMC we believe that it is important that families as a whole are cared for spiritually. CUMC offers a variety of different Sunday School classes that help connect adults and families. At certain times we will also offer parent specific bible studies that will be linked below.
Important Downloads and Info
Family Information Form: This form is required to be filled out by families each year. It helps the Children’s Ministry to have updated contact information as well as medical and emergency information if needed. Forms are due at the beginning of fall each year and may be returned to the Director of Ministry for Children and Families.
Safe Sanctuary Guidelines: We strive to keep all children and volunteers safe at all times. All volunteers and staff are background checked and Safe Sanctuary trained. Our Children’s Committee also reviews our Safe Sanctuary Guidelines each year to make sure that all spaces and places within our church are happy and healthy.
