Mission & Outreach Ministries

As the church, we are called to be bearers of light, Christ's light that brings hope to our community and world. In the gospel of Matthew, Jesus instructs us to pay attention to the needs of others in our midst, seeing others through the lenses of Jesus.

Clemmons United Methodist Church mission statement :

We exist to reach out with God's love, to connect and equip all as transformed disciples of Jesus Christ for service in the world.

We pray we are faithful to whom, where and how God is calling us individually and as a body to serve God's people. If you are interested in knowing more about the outreach ministries of Clemmons UMC, please contact Kathy Giff at: giffk@clemmonsumc.org

MISSION OUTREACH SUPPORT TEAM (MOST)

The CUMC Mission Outreach Support Team oversees and supports CUMC missions and outreach through promotion of effective ministry strategies, supporting new and existing ministry initiatives by providing tools, support, counsel and connections to further and enhance the potential viability and success of CUMC missions. CUMC grant and fundraising policies allow for better communication between mission team leaders and an equitable approach to mission fundraising. All who request mission grants, scholarships and fundraisers must submit an application to be approved by the MOSTeam. We also seek to partner with community agencies which align with our vision and mission . Please read the information below addressing the agency grant request process. To learn more about our scholarship, fundraising and grant process, please read the following documents:
